Frequently Asked Questions

Below i’ve listed some typical questions I get asked before booking me but If you have any other queries, feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!

How much does a voiceover cost?

Pricing can vary depending on the type of project, but to give you a general idea: a 2-minute internal corporate or explainer video voiceover typically costs £200. This fee isn’t set in stone, and I’m flexible depending on the specifics of your project. It’s always best to get in touch so we can discuss what works best for you. For Commercials, and similar projects, I follow the industry standard Rate Card, which you can view online here.

Turnaround times depend on my current workload, but you can generally expect your voiceover within 24 hours. For longer scripts, those with 1,000 words or more, the process may take up to 24 hours, but I’ll inform you upfront so you know what to expect. Short commercial scripts can often be delivered within an hour.

Absolutely! I’m available for directed sessions via Source Connect, CleanFeed, Zoom, or any other platform you prefer. Just give me 24 hours‘ notice to confirm availability. Best of all, there’s no extra charge for live sessions.

Do you have a professional home studio?

Absolutely! I record from a StudioBricks VO Edition booth using either a Neumann U87 or Neumann TLM102 microphone. The U87 is the gold standard for studios worldwide, while the TLM102 is renowned for its ‘buttery smoothsound, ideal for projects requiring a warm, rich tone. If you’d prefer me to come to your studio, I’m always open to working on-site—just let me know!

Are there any additional voiceover costs?

Additional charges typically only arise from usage changes, such as expanding a project’s use from internal to paid social media ads or TV broadcast, or from script rewrites. I’m quite flexible with minor tweaks, but substantial rewrites after recording may incur a fee. Rest assured, there are no hidden fees. Once I understand your project and receive your script, you’ll receive a quote that covers everything.

What types of work do you specialise in?

I specialise in a variety of voiceover projects. These include

My work largely leans on human performances, in that, I try to convey emotive work, whether that be happy, sad, dramatic or neutral.  I don’t work in roles that require Cartoon voices or accents, but I can absolutely point you to some recommended voices that specialise in these areas.
